We’ve designed OvaGold to seamlessly slot into your routine alongside a prenatal multivitamin, without doubling up!
is OvaGold just another prenatal vitamin? I’ve already got one of those!
Absolutely not! We’ve specifically designed this formula to work perfectly alongside your prenatal vitamin, without containing any of the same ingredients so you’re not doubling up and wasting precious effort and money. We’ve approached fertility like a puzzle, with OvaGold being the missing piece. Your prenatal multivitamin is there to support your anticipated increased nutrient needs in pregnancy - nutrients like folate, iodine, zinc, selenium, B group vitamins, choline & vitamin D. And OvaGold is there to optimise your reproductive & fertility health - OvaGold is thinking about the optimal health of your egg before conception.
what makes OvaGold different?
OvaGold is a convenient alternative to the mental and physical gymnastics of (1) figuring out which nutrients matter the most for reproductive health and then (2) having to pop at least 8 different capsules just to get them all in! OvaGold has been formulated by fertility nutrition professionals, with each nutrient delivered in therapeutic doses for optimal impact. We’ve got your 5-in-1 solution.
why is OvaGold so expensive?
Our co-founders are type-As with unrelenting high standards, and safe to say, they weren’t going to compromise on quality - not when your future child’s DNA was on the line! Each ingredient inside OvaGold is expensive to source and use. And we also didn’t want to compromise on our dream formula either because we knew these ingredients belonged together.
Ultimately, we want people trying to conceive or preparing for IVF to take this for 3-6 months. We have done the maths, and compared to paying for similar quality supplements individually (and we didn’t even include delivery fees!), OvaGold still comes out on top as being the most cost effective AND practical too.
It is just 2 capsules per day - yay for reduced pill burden!
Plus, we always have standard Australia-wide shipping FREE for you! No hidden costs here.
the science behind OvaGold.
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10)
CoQ10 (ubidecarenone) is one of the most powerful antioxidants, required for the health of all human tissues and organs. Our body’s natural CoQ10 levels decrease as we age, which leaves our body more vulnerable to oxidative stress and cell damage - including your ovaries and eggs. Reduced CoQ10 levels may also affect the way cells produce energy, negatively affecting egg quality.
CoQ10 supplementation may help to reverse the natural age-related decline in egg quality and quantity, and improve egg and embryo quality in people with low egg reserves. This is because CoQ10 has qualities as both an antioxidant and a substance that supports the mitochondrial health of your cells (improve cell energy production).
In women and people with ovaries undergoing IVF, CoQ10 supplementation may help to improve IVF outcomes such as the number of mature oocytes (eggs) retrieved, fertilisation rates and embryo development.
Nicotinamide Riboside
Nicotinamide Riboside is converted to NAD+ in your body, and NAD+ has been shown to help restore fertility and egg quality in ageing animals. It may help to reverse the effect of ageing on a fertilised, developing embryo.
Higher levels of nicotinamide have been linked to improved egg maturation and fertilisation rates, and may reduce the damage to eggs caused by oxidative stress.
NAD+ supplementation can help to improve egg quality and embryo development, with huge potential for supporting female reproductive health.
Low levels of NAD+ in eggs can interfere with the development of the embryo, and result in lower live birth rates. However, increasing NAD+ levels with supplementation appears to improve the mitochondrial function of eggs, and may be an effective approach for treating obesity-related ovarian infertility.
Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA)
ALA is a natural antioxidant with anti-inflammatory effects. As well as helping to protect cells against oxidative stress, ALA also helps with antioxidant ‘recycling’ and increasing the effect of other antioxidants in the body, including vitamins C and E. Protection against oxidative stress is key to egg health, as oxidative stress has been associated with poorer egg quality, implantation and fertility outcomes.
Supplementation with ALA over a period of time may increase the numbers of mature eggs and good quality embryos in ageing women undergoing IVF. ALA supplementation has also been shown to improve the development of follicles, eggs and embryos, and reduce oxidative stress.
The benefits of ALA also extend to metabolic health. ALA supplementation may improve fertility and metabolic parameters in people with PCOS, as well as enhancing reproductive outcomes in women with PCOS undergoing IVF treatment.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble essential vitamin which has significant antioxidant potential in the body. Through neutralising free radicals, vitamin E helps reduce oxidative stress, which may protect egg cells and improve ovarian function. This protective role becomes increasingly important as we age and oxidative stress increases, as well as in cases of conditions such as PCOS which have been associated with higher levels of oxidative stress.
Within the reproductive system, the antioxidant potential of vitamin E is also complemented by its positive impact on blood flow, supporting a healthy uterine lining which is critical to embryo implantation.
Vitamin E supplementation has been associated with shortening the time to pregnancy in people experiencing unexplained infertility, in particular in females aged over 35. It should also be noted that the potential of vitamin E can be increased through co-supplementing with vitamin C to powerfully reduce oxidative stress in cells.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C (also known as ascorbic acid) is a water-soluble vitamin that acts as a potent antioxidant and is also crucial to the structural integrity of all muscle and tissues in the body because of its role in collagen synthesis.
The role of vitamin C and fertility is far-reaching and perhaps understated. Research indicates that vitamin C not only acts as a protective factor within the reproductive system, but that adequate vitamin C is essential for maintaining regular menstrual cycles, embryo implantation and optimal progesterone levels. In other words, vitamin C is involved in hormonal regulation as well as having the immune-supporting benefits it is probably better known for.
Vitamin C supplementation has the potential to impact the makeup of your follicular fluid - the fluid surrounding your eggs. Increased vitamin C may beneficially impact egg and embryo development. In people undergoing IVF, antioxidant supplementation including vitamin C may improve IVF outcomes.

Frequently Asked Questions
OvaGold is not a prenatal multivitamin which means you don’t need it anymore once you’ve conceived, so you should discontinue use once pregnancy is confirmed. It is safe to take in the two week wait for those undergoing fertility treatments like ovulation induction, IUI or IVF. Always consult your health care professional for individualised advice.
We recommend taking OvaGold for a minimum of 3 months for maximum benefits. Why? Well, it takes about 90-120 days for your egg to go from primordial follicle (science for teeny egg) to dominant follicle (science for the egg is about to drop and maybe become half of your baby!), and in that time the fluid bubble your egg is sitting in (that’s the follicular fluid) is pretty important.
That’s where OvaGold steps in to provide nourishment. You want your follicular fluid to be rich in antioxidants - like the CoQ10, Vitamin E & C that you’ll find inside OvaGold. And you want your egg to emerge totally energised which is why we included Nicotinamide Riboside Chloride (NRC), a precursor to NAD+ which helps your cells to produce energy and develop properly.
Yes! OvaGold has no known interactions with commonly used medications used in fertility treatments. However, you should NOT take OvaGold if you’re taking warfarin unless you have explicit individual clearance from your medical professional to do so. Always consult with your health care professional for individual advice if you have any concerns.
